All admission tickets to be purchased at the museum's admission counter.

Please note that we do not operate an online booking service. Please pay for your admissions tickets upon arrival to the museum at the admissions counter located by the Cafe either by cash or card payments.

Great British Summer Savings
With special thanks to the UK Government’s Great British Summer Savings (GBSS) we are able to pass on the VAT reduction to all tickets.
The standard rate of VAT has been reduced from 20% to 5% from Thursday 25th June 2026 to Tuesday 1st September 2026.

Carer Ticket
One free carer ticket for each paying registered disabled visitor.
Please bring the relevant proof of identification with you as this will be required on entry to the museum in order to claim your Carer Ticket.

Family Priced Tickets
We are making Summer 2026 even more affordable for families, on top of the Great British Summer Savings VAT reduction we are reducing admission prices further for eligible families with at least two paying children (aged 4 to 15 years old) per group.
The great thing about our Family Priced Tickets, is that there is no limit on group size, visiting as a family of three? Or a big family visit of ten, so long as there are at least two paying children (aged between 4 and 15 years old) then you will qualify for these great Family Priced Tickets.
