COVID-19 – GUIDELINES TO KEEP VISITORS AND STAFF SAFE
Attraction Safety Measures
ADMISSION TICKETS, YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Admission tickets and season tickets are available to be purchased from the attraction when you arrive. We will not require payment before you arrive however, we do ask you kindly to pay via a contactless method such as a contactless debit or credit card or apple pay. We are unable to accept cash currently but are able to accept payment by chip and pin.
The maximum party size currently allowed to visit us (current government guidance) at this time is six people. Please do maintain social distance from other groups whilst in the attraction. If your group is larger than the maximum party size currently allowed, please do call us on 01603 781728 to discuss the latest government guidance on whether your social bubble can be allowed to visit if you are all from the same household.
There is no time limit on your visit to us and you are most welcome to stay until we close.
BEFORE YOUR VISIT, YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Although we will be allowing visitors to purchase admission tickets on the day without booking, we are highly recommending that you do book your timeslot to visit us via the TICKETS section on our website. Please follow the instructions to reserve your chosen day of visit and your estimated arrival time to secure your booking. If you have any issues, please do get in touch with us to help you with the booking process.
Those who do not book may have to queue and wait if the attraction is busy, as we only have limited tickets available on the day. We will be prioritising those who have booked in advance to enter the attraction first.
If recommended or required by local health authorities, please wear a suitable face mask or covering when visiting us.
We politely ask that if are displaying symptoms associated with COVID-19 to not visit our attraction at this time.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE, YOU NEED TO KNOW:
We have reduced our visitor capacity within the attraction to ensure that we can make your visit as safe as possible and can follow social distancing measures, whilst maintaining the best possible visitor experience for you.
You may need to queue when you arrive, even if you have prebooked your tickets with us, to safely allow visitors to pay one group at a time when inside the attraction to enable social distancing.
Upon entry to the attraction and around the attraction you will notice our signage highlighting social distancing and hygiene measures that are in place.
We will be accepting discount vouchers but please have discount vouchers ready before you pay and show these against the hygiene screen at the admissions counter and not to hand over your voucher to our admissions staff. After paying please safely dispose of your discount voucher in the bin provided.
SOCIAL DISTANCING, YOU NEED TO KNOW:
We have clear signage around the attraction about social distancing and a one-way system is in effect with floor markers showing the two-meter distances. To ensure social distancing can be followed.
We have a hygiene screen at the admissions and café counter to physical separate our visitors from our staff safety.
We are following the current Government guidance regarding interactive facilities at the attraction. Some of these may not be available during your visit to ensure social distancing can be followed and help to reduce the spread of coronavirus. Please do contact us either by email or telephone to check with our team to find out which interactive facilities may be closed on the day.
We are following the current Government guidance regarding whether our indoor café seating area can be open and used at this time. We currently have a reduced menu.
HYGIENE MEASURES, YOU NEED TO KNOW:
We politely ask our visitors and staff to maintain their highest standard of hygiene and we encourage hand washing and using hand sanitiser whilst in the attraction.
We have hand sanitising station set up upon entry and around the attraction. We ask everyone to please use the hand sanitiser when you enter the attraction and before and after using interactive displays.
We have enhanced our cleaning procedures throughout the attraction, and these are performed thoroughly and regularly throughout the day to disinfect all touch point within the attraction. These include but not limited to service counters, tablets and chairs, handles, taps, flush handles, interactive push buttons, interactive displays, and handrails to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness.
We have a one out, one in policy for our toilet facilities to ensure social distancing can be followed. Our toilet facilities are frequently cleaned throughout the day including all touch points. We have hand sanitising stations set up by the doors to the toilet facilities.
To help protect our staff and visitors, our staff will be using face shields and or face masks as they perform their daily duties. Our staff have undergone COVID-19 training and guidance on safe interactions with our visitors.
